Revealing Nature's Wonders: Explorations in the Garden
Step into our Garden Station, where curiosity leads the way! We dive into hands-on explorations, zooming in with microscopes to check out the heart of sunflowers and discovering the tiny flowers hidden inside. We also get up close with bees in action, seeing firsthand how they keep our garden buzzing with life.
As we explore the Five Kingdoms of Life, we dig into legumes—learning about their superfood powers and life cycle through fun garden contests and pea sprouting experiments. Plus, we bring farm life to life with **"Rosie’s Big Adventure: It’s a Farm Life,"** painting scenes inspired by the story’s characters.
With microscopes in hand, we get a bug’s-eye view of worms, plants, and all sorts of tiny creatures, uncovering the connections that make nature tick. Ever wondered how mushrooms "talk" to each other? We do, too! Through nature walks and "telephone" games, we explore the underground world of fungi and the surprising ways they communicate.
And of course, what’s a garden station without planting? As we dig, plant, and care for crops and flowers, we roll with the seasons, getting hands-on with the magic of nature. Every session is packed with discovery, creativity, and fun, making learning about the natural world an adventure!
