Daily Schedules
How We Group
Students are grouped primarily by age, with a Lead Teacher assigned to each group of up to 10 students. The same Lead Teacher stays with their group throughout the day, guiding them through 3-4 Learning Stations across our 6-acre farm, depending on whether they attend the 3- or 4-hour program.
We want every child to feel comfortable and happy in their group! While we’ve placed everyone based on age to start, sometimes another group might be a better fit. If needed, we’ll make adjustments within the first few weeks to ensure the best experience for everyone.
Stations & Schedules
Each Learning Station—Nature, Garden, Art & Science, Music, Homestead, and Kitchen—has a Station Teacher. The Lead Teacher remains with their group alongside the Station Teacher during station visits. Stations rotate daily, ensuring a varied experience. Students also have 20-30 minutes for snack/lunch and recess.

At the ABCs Station, young pioneers explore letters, numbers, and sensory experiences through hands-on activities. They practice simple math with play-dough, learn calendar skills through songs, and discover vowels by studying insects like bumblebees and ladybugs.
Sensory adventures include tasting citrus fruits, painting with oranges, and creating erupting volcanoes with lemons. Themes like zoo animals, vegetables, and nature make learning fun with crafts, games, and experiments that strengthen cognitive and motor skills.
Through storytelling and role-play, students develop empathy and social awareness.
Adventure
Join the Adventure Class, where the Yellow Ducks, Pink Llamas, and Red Chicks embark on hands-on journeys through Nature, Music, and Homesteading! From planting tiny seeds to making music with homemade instruments and discovering the wonders of farm life, every day is a new adventure. Expect muddy hands, happy hearts, and plenty of stories about the day's discoveries! Art & Science
Young scientists dive into exciting experiments, from exploring the rock cycle to testing freezing point depression, making every lesson a hands-on adventure. But it’s not just about science—creativity takes center stage as we craft paper beads, wire-wrap stones, and even create music with instruments made from nature. We also explore the patterns of our Solar System, experience how sounds evoke emotions, and turn those sensations into artistic expressions. Through interactive projects and experiments, students connect with the wonders of nature in a whole new way.
Kitchen
Young chefs harvest fresh ingredients, craft delicious meals, and explore the farm-to-table journey. From homemade noodles to orchard-fresh shortbread, every dish is a hands-on lesson in nutrition, sustainability, and global food traditions. Cooking here is an adventure in creativity and connection to the land.
Garden
Welcome to our Garden Station, where hands-on adventures bring nature to life. We use microscopes to uncover the hidden beauty of sunflowers, observe bees in action, and explore the world of legumes through contests and sprouting experiments. Through "Rosie’s Big Adventure: It’s a Farm Life," we spark creativity with farm-inspired art, while nature walks and games reveal the secret communication of fungi. We examine bugs, worms, and plants up close, discovering the intricate connections of the natural world. As we plant and tend to crops, we embrace the changing seasons and the excitement of growing something from the ground up.
Music
Our music class is an exciting journey through the world of sound, exploring the instruments of the orchestra—from the soaring strings and powerful brass to the rhythmic percussion and expressive woodwinds. Students will discover music from cultures around the world, learning how different traditions use melody and harmony to tell stories and celebrate life. Through interactive activities, they’ll dive into the fundamentals of music theory, developing an understanding of tone, beat, and rhythm in a way that makes learning both fun and engaging. Whether clapping out rhythms, listening for patterns, or experimenting with sounds, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the universal language of music!
Homestead
At Homestead Station, children explore nature, art, and craftsmanship through hands-on projects led by passionate educators. From crafting wind chimes with natural materials to recreating ancient cave art, students engage in activities that spark imagination and deepen their connection to the world. They discover patterns in nature, experiment with woodworking, papier-mâché, and tinfoil creations, and develop essential skills through creative expression. Weather tracking and geography lessons further enrich their learning, connecting them to global cultures.
Nature
At the Nature Station, students embark on journeys through gardens and trails, observing tadpoles, Mallard ducks, and the beauty of the wild. Storytime on the hill and crafting scenery for our in-house play spark creativity, while the rewilded section introduces them to blossoming trees and sunflowers. Under the oak tree, they explore nature’s culinary wonders and uncover hidden treasures—from snails to bird nests—deepening their appreciation for the world around them.
